GUD Malta does not collect any personal data unless information is specifically provided by website visitors through contact forms. Where we may collect personal data from

  • Comments – When leaving comments on the GUD Malta website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string for enhanced spam detection. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of using a moderator system.

  • Donations – When you make a donation to or purchase from GUD Malta, we request, collect and retain certain information from you (collectively “Transactional Information”). Transactional Information includes your name, email address, billing address, partial encrypted credit card information, phone number, donation and/or purchase amount, and other personally identifiable information you might choose to share with us in this context.

  • GUD Malta website or microsites – Depending on the features of the Site or Microsites you choose to use, we request, collect and retain certain information (collectively “Service Information”). Service Information includes your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and other personally identifiable information you choose to share with us when using our website or microsites. 

  • Advocacy services – GUD Malta’s advocacy service allows you to contact policy and/or decision makers about issues that concern you. If you use our advocacy service, we request, collect, and retain certain information (collectively “Advocacy Information”).
