The Cocoa Tree is a medium-sized evergreen tree that grows up to 8 meters tall. It has a wide, spreading canopy and its leaves are glossy, dark green in color. The trunk is slender and the bark is light brown to gray. It produces white flowers and its fruits are oval-shaped pods that grow up to 15 centimeters long and weigh up to 500 grams. Inside the pods are the cacao beans, which are used to produce cocoa powder, cocoa butter, and chocolate.
 
What is included: 
Each sapling will be geolocated and can be photographed with a bespoke message in view of the sapling when planted. It could take a few weeks to several months before the tree is ready to be planted but gifters and giftees will be kept up to date on the progress.
